I'm Steve, owner of Kent Flat Pack Ltd.
The idea of Kent Flat Pack came about a couple of years ago. Helping some heavily pregnant friends move into their new home, I spent the entire day assembling their IKEA furniture for them. They were so thankful and couldn't believe how quickly it had all been assembled.
One Facebook post from these lovely people thanking me for my work resulted in an influx of requests to do the same for others. Today, Kent Flat Pack Ltd has two teams of directly employed technicians working seven days a week all over Kent, and beyond.
In 2019, I made the decision to expand Kent Flat Pack Ltd in order to provide opportunities for others (and to give me time to focus on other areas of the business).
I employed Maria, our service manager, Wendy, our accountant and also five new flatpack furniture technicians.
The Kent team consists of myself (Steve), Drew, Andy, Jake, Matt, Sam, Luke and Chris and you can meet them right here.
Every member of the team is selected for their friendly and professional manner as well as being really good at building furniture! Staff are referenced and CRB checked before joining us. So many customers feed back to us that it's a joy to have us working in their homes. I'm quite happy about that.
